Special Cancellation Policies and Travel Insurance Options:
For Summer 2021, if a guest wishes to cancel, they may do so up until 30 days prior to arrival and get a refund. Cancellations between 30-14 days prior to arrival can receive a 75% refund or credit to be used for a future stay. Anything cancelled within 2 weeks of arrival will get a credit to use for a future stay or IF we can re-book for the same dates you will receive a refund of whatever the difference in rate may be.
We offer travel insurance and travel insurance options that include a cancel for any reason clause. We highly suggest you check these options out.
Should the Steamboat Ski Area close completely during the season due to COVID19 or if the local government puts a short term rental ban in place, we will refund any impacted reservations minus a 3% transaction fee (charged to us by the processing company).
What restrictions are in place in Steamboat and Routt County:
Since the situation is very fluid and restrictions and policies are changing on a regular basis, we highly suggest visiting Routt County’s COVID information page for the most up to date information. Please follow all local mandates while you are visiting in order to keep our small community safe and to protect yourselves and other travelers while you are here. Follow these basic rules:
- Wear a mask while in public (this includes while in lift lines and riding lifts)
- Keep a social distance of at least 6 feet – preferably more
- Wash your hands often
- Stay home if you are sick
- Get tested if you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive
