We didn’t eat scrambled eggs for lunch or a bowl of cereal for dinner, and although The Egg in Steamboat Springs is only open for breakfast and lunch, you can enjoy your breakfast food at long as they are open. The Restaurant
Located at 325 Anglers Drive, Open Daily 7 AM – 2 PM
An egg is a deceptively simple food choice, offering just three elements, the shell, the whites, and the yolk, while providing a multitude of ways to eat it, and The Egg restaurant reflects a simplicity of its own. Offering the feel of a cozy diner, when you first walk in you may be distracted by the display case of sweet treats, but trust us, there is a whole lot more to unpack on their very extensive menu. A small patio shaded by colorful umbrellas and mature trees is a popular place to eat in the summer months, with its simple décor inside ensuring that the food is the star of the show. Friendly wait staff and reasonable prices keep this delicious spot in our regular dining out rotation and we are excited to recommend it to our guests.
The Menu
We hope you have time to spare because The Egg’s menu offers a lot of delicious dishes from which to choose. Divided into sections that offer riveting titles, including Eggs-clusive (Their Sleeping Giant Burrito will feed a family, we swear!) Taste of Venezuela, and our favorite, Sweet Indulgences. Their lunch menu is equally entertaining, starring sandwiches, soups, burgers, and anything you crave off the breakfast menu and because our tastes often change with the seasons, they offer an ever changing seasonal menu filled with innovative delights such as Chilaquiles Benedict and on their winter warmer section, a lavender lemon vodka that will warm you from the inside out.
