Ski Rentals:
We know there are many options for ski and snowboard equipment rentals in Steamboat, but we absolutely recommend Christy Sports or their Delivery Service. They have several convenient locations around Steamboat including their flagship location in gondola square. They consistently have the best equipment, knowledgeable employees and great service. Book online before you arrive using the link below (rate is discounted already online for booking ahead of time) or walk-in to any location while you are in Steamboat and tell them you are a Grand Adventure Co guest.
Airport Shuttle
If you decide not to rent a car from the Hayden or Denver airports, there are a few options for getting you to your Grand Adventure Co vacation rental. Storm Mountain Express has been operating for a long time in the Yampa Valley and offers options from the Hayden and Denver Airports. Black Bear Transportation is a smaller local company that provides private shuttles for smaller groups and occasional point to point service within Steamboat as well. Ski Town Transportation is also a newer local shuttle company that offers private and shared rides from the airport.
We highly recommend making a reservation in advance. We have heard from aiport officials that with the change in one local operator, there will be less group seats available for the upcoming season and Uber/Lyft services are unreliable from our rural airport.
