The travel world isn’t very kind to solo travelers, charging them more for less and making them feel as if they aren’t as important because they aren’t spending as much money as two people would. Although couples are treated much kinder, either demographic may be wondering what they have to sacrifice in the name of space. We love to tell our guests that the answer is absolutely nothing, explaining that luxury will still abound and access to community amenities will ensure you enjoy the beautiful vacation experience you need and so richly deserve. And so, as you find yourself standing at the door of your 1-bedroom rental in Steamboat Springs, it is time to step inside and let the comfortable adventures begin.
Spacious and Open
The open concept floor plan is really genius in design, ensuring that no one is cramped or crowded, and our 1-bedroom retreats are a perfect example. Starting the tour with our living rooms, guests will find comfortable sofas placed where views of the state of the art television and crackling fire in the fireplace are best, it is also possible to see the community that lies just beyond the sliding glass doors at the back of the units. The sofas truly are comfy ones, and we predict if you are a nap taker, many naps will be taken on a lazy afternoon.
The Heart of the Home
You are going to enjoy many delicious meals as you explore the restaurants of Steamboat Springs, but on a snowy night in February, a stormy night in June, or a clear and beautiful night in any month of the year, staying in and cooking a meal in our well-equipped kitchens may be exactly what your vacation experience needs. Offering everything you need to make a meal (minus the food and beverages), it can be fun sharing the space, divvying up chores and working together in ways that you don’t often have time to do during real life. Or, if you are traveling on a solo journey, it can be wonderful savoring these quiet moments alone, even if you do have the music playing and you are singing at the top of your lungs!
Healthy Meals, Delicious Beverages, and Heartfelt Conversations Are Held Here
The dining room portion of our open concept floor plans will be used in much the same way you use yours at home. Waking up early to enjoy a cup of coffee as the world slowly comes alive around you, devouring healthy (or not so healthy!) meals that you created yourself in the kitchen that lies just steps away, and sharing heartfelt conversations with your favorite traveling partner. All of life’s best moments are discussed at the dining room table, and if you are on a solo journey, it can be where you sip a glass of wine, relax, and relish the quiet that surrounds you.
Meandering Paths
Now it is true that you won’t have a large yard when you choose one of our 1-bedroom rentals, but you will have a balcony that overlooks the community you have chosen for your vacation accommodations. Waking early to watch the sun rise over the Colorado landscape or lingering at home a little longer to watch the sun set and relaxing with a cold one on a hot summer day. In addition to the balcony space, many of our sanctuaries will offer paths that meander throughout the community, leading to the hot tubs or to a bank of trees, and as you roam aimlessly on another beautiful day in paradise, the serenity of your surroundings will make you fall in love.
Community Amenities
Every community offers something a little different, but we can assure you that hot tubs will be one of the amenities that you will find in just about every one. Having a hot tub is almost a state law here in Colorado and when you submerge yourselves into the bubbling depths of the community hot tub, you will understand the necessity!
