The various neighborhoods, condo, and townhome communities that can be found in Steamboat Spring are one of our favorite parts of living here, and we at Grand Adventure Company are excited to bring you the best properties from the best communities, such as the Alpine Vista Townhome community, enabling you to experience their charms for yourself. This beautiful community is a popular one and when your journey brings you to Steamboat Springs for vacation, it is definitely one you should consider. Today we are taking a tour of the community and the Alpine Vista apartments and townhome rentals we offer within, giving you a sneak peek into what could be your dream vacation escape come true!
The Community
The chalet designs of the townhomes in Alpine Vista may feel as if you have been transported to a Swiss village in the Alps, giving your all-American vacation and international flair. Featuring the steep pitched roofs of a classic A-frame cabin and the almost Tudor style wood accents, these townhomes are beautiful at any time of the year, but somehow, they shine brighter when surrounded by a blanket of snow. The community is a small one, giving it an exclusivity that guests enjoy, but is close enough to the mountain that you can catch glimpses of where you will spend a lot of time playing, especially if your visit brings you here in the winter. The streets of the community are lined with trees, winding their way through a peaceful and serene landscape, and as you pull into the garage of your Colorado sanctuary you will begin to feel the Grand Adventure Company difference, even before you step inside for the first time.
Alpine Vista Townhome Amenities
The garage we mentioned in the above paragraph may be your second favorite community amenity, especially for our winter travelers. We live here year round, and we cannot express enough the convenience of being able to pull into a garage, close the door behind us, and unload groceries, kids, and ourselves without having to navigate through snowflakes, ice, and slush. And when we are ready to leave, there is no need to scrape ice off a windshield, nor will there be a need to let the car warm up before hitting the road; the garage maintains a cozy nest for the vehicles that rest within. Of course, your favorite community amenity will most certainly be the hot tub bubbling happily in its gated enclosure, and your aching muscles will thank you for every soak you experience. Offering a close proximity to walking trails, bike paths, and of course, the ski area, the community is one that enjoys a prime location.
Perfect for Larger Traveling Groups
The condos we offer in Alpine Vista are larger ones, featuring 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths (every bedroom has its own en suite bath), and room for up to 10 guests. Wood floors give a warm glow to the spaces, and high ceilings and windows that stretch all the way up to the ceiling make these comfortable spaces feel even larger. And because every detail is important when you choose Grand Adventure Company, there will be enough seating in the living room and dining room for every guest to have a spot at the table and a view of the super-sized state of the art television mounted to the wall. Fireplaces are practically a legal requirement in Steamboat Springs, so of course a large stone fireplace is the center of attraction in the living room, and an open concept floor plan enables guests to do their own things in separate spaces, while staying connected with a smile, a look, and probably a dad joke or two. The chef quality kitchens will give you more reasons to stay in on a cold and snowy night, offering updated appliances, stone counters, and breakfast bars where those not cooking can chat with the cook of the day.
Comfort and Luxury
Comfort is important to the quality of your vacation, and the premium beds found in spacious bedrooms will be your favorite spot in the house. As we mentioned earlier, every bedroom has its own bath, allowing multiple families to stay together but have their own private spaces to retreat to, and because there are so many bathrooms, morning traffic jams will be fewer. Steam showers and deep soaking tubs give the baths a spa-like feel and televisions in every bedroom may help guests fall asleep easier. Although each room does have its own bath, the primary suite will be quickly apparent as its size is quite large and offers enough room for a sofa, a desk area, and all the normal bedroom furniture.

FAQs
-
What’s the difference between a steam shower and a regular shower?
There are a large number of benefits to a steam shower, especially in comparison with a regular shower, including ecological ones (less water is used) and mental health ones (a good steam will help eliminate stress).
-
While we are on the topic of steam, did I hear there are some hot springs nearby?
Steamboat Springs is home to the Old Town Hot Springs, located at 136 Lincoln Avenue, and Strawberry Park Hot Springs, located at 44200 CO Road 36, with each offering a unique way to play in the hot waters.
-
We’re staying for about a month, what is the closet situation?
Our townhomes inside the Alpine Vista community offer lots of storage capability including large closets in the bedrooms. Each room also offers its own dresser and nightstands, and of course, there is a washer in the unit, so you won’t have to bring your entire wardrobe.
-
It’s Tuesday and we want to get our taco fix while in Steamboat, any recommendations?
In our humble opinions, Taco Tuesday should be a national holiday, and because we are a Southwestern state, there are multiple options for enjoying these wonderful handhelds, including Salt & Lime. Located at 628 Lincoln Avenue, they even offer $5 tacos during their daily happy hour, so every day can be Taco Tuesday if you want.

You say your Alpine Vista townhomes are close to the ski area, how close is close?
It’s just a half-mile walk to the base of the ski area, easily manageable if you don’t want to drive.
