Waterford Townhomes is a community of 3 & 4 bedroom homes located a short distance from the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. There is a community pool, open in summer only, and many of the homes have private hot tubs. Each home has a 2 car private garage and the neighborhood offers a looping ski season shuttle which will take you to the base of the ski resort and back each day.

The kitchen is equipped really well, beds are comfy and the living room has ample comfy seating. The gas fireplace and full size washer and dryer are a nice bonus. The layout of the condo is really nice—wide open living area and bedrooms separated by the closets. One of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve stayed in—and I’ve stayed in a lot of them.

Let’s Talk Amenities

Normally this would be the part where we wax poetic over the tranquility and peace of the bedrooms in our Waterford escapes (And we will soon enough, we can assure you of that!), but these spaces offer a plethora of amenities that we think you would like to hear more about. The first amenity you experienced within the first minutes of your Steamboat Springs vacation was, of course, the keypad on the front door that let you check yourself in and keeps you from having to carry another set of keys with you during your adventures. Self-check-in and check-out is, in our humble opinions, the greatest evolution in technology since the smart phone, and we are happy to share its benefits with our guests. Next, we will have you step outside the glass patio doors in the living area to discover a large deck that overlooks the Waterford community landscape, furnished with comfortable chairs and also offering a patio table for al fresco dining. Some of our Grand Adventure Company townhomes will also offer private hot tubs, fully equipped laundry rooms, and two car garages that will fit most vehicles, but not the supersized trucks we Americans are so fond of, so keep that in mind when choosing your rental car.

Time to Slumber

Sleep won’t be hard to accomplish in our tranquil and relaxing bedrooms, especially as the premium beds are just about the most comfortable ones in the state of Colorado. Primary suites will offer their own en suite baths, some with deep tubs for soaking, but the wonders of Waterford continue with the knowledge that these spaces feature an equal number (if not more) of baths to bedrooms, which gives every bedroom an en suite feel. Televisions, quiet office areas, sitting areas, and bunk beds deliver a powerful punch of relaxation and comfort and if you aren’t sleeping too deeply to dream, the ones you do have will be happy ones.
