How do I get around in Steamboat?
Some properties provide free winter shuttle service, while some do not. Please check the details on the home you have rented to see what shuttle options are available. There is a free city bus operated year-round as well as a reputable taxi service through Go Alpine. You can occasionally find an Uber or Lyft driver on duty, however the availability is spotty and unreliable.
Is there a shuttle or taxis from the Hayden airport?
We highly recommend booking a shuttle ahead of time for your transportation from/to the Hayden airport. Both Go Alpine and Storm Mountain Express offer excellent and reliable service.
Can I ship my gear or luggage ahead of time?
Yes, but please contact us for the best address to ship to as delivery services are a bit complicated in our remote mountain town.
Where can we rent skis?
